Internet options missing from control panel

The other day while browsing the Internet, I Found A Fix for a recent problem I was having. The issue is described as follows;

When using Internet Explorer 7, I would randomly experience issues connecting to the internet. The web page would be stuck on ‘connecting’. Also, upon further inspection, I learned that ‘Internet Options’ was missing from the control panel.

The solution and description to this error is set out below;

The solution that worked for me was to simply resinstall my existing copy of Internet Explorer . You might also consider upgrading your copy of Internet Explorer to version 8. You can download a copy from here.
